THE TANTRUM
The Tantrum is our light wind and wake-style board that is really appreciated by light wind specialist as well as some of our team riders.
It has, in comparison to the Imperator, a much narrower and sharper rail edge which, in comparison, allows easier planing. In addition the outline is kept parallel to offer a greater planing surface on the board.
In light wind the board rides much higher and with a parked kite it allows itself to be actively popped out of the water – much like a wakeboard. Jumping height, with kite assist, is not as high as with the Imperator.

The Difference
The unequalled high gloss finish of this custom board makes it something special. Few other materials are as optically precise as Carbon – when combined with the high gloss finish this allows no room for even the smallest error. This board is manufactured with much patience and the utmost care. After laminating, the board is wet sanded and varnished several times before being ready for use. The result is a kiteboard that is so light and robust, that it is a pure joy. The ride characteristics are unbeatable. And all this can be customized for each rider. The construction with carbon allows for lighter glassing, since the lighter and stiffer carbon fibers are laid at the right angles to support the torsion of the board. The “Full Carbon Flex” Version has a scratch resistant top deck, constructed with light carbon fiber. The look and robustness are unbeatable. The ride characteristics are impressive: defined flex at the right places allows for powerful jumps and improved upwind riding. The result is a kiteboard that is extremely light and ultra robust. The ride characteristics are unbeatable. The construction with carbon allows for lighter glassing, since the lighter and stiffer carbon fibers are laid at the right angles to support the torsion of the board. This allows for one less layer of glassing to be applied. You are left with a board that is much lighter, as less glassing is required, but still has the right amount of flex, at the right places, as well as torsion along the longitudinal axis, which a sport board requires. The Difference
What you see is what you get - Pure Wood. We worked with a clear laminate to show off the wood core. Every board looks different. The wood colors are brought out beautifully by the clear laminate.
